A SOURCE event presents a celebration of the finest electronic music, spanning several genres including deep house, electro, space disco, minimal and melodic techno.
Spearheaded by Voir Records founder, Elizabeth Gaffney and her techno-wizard friend, Marc Ibanez, the night was established in London in early 2018 with the intention of reviving intimate clubbing experiences that were centred on the collective joyful journeys and magic that great music can bring and nothing else. Finding its first home in BAR A BAR, a small, stripped-back basement space in Dalston, East London, SOURCE has hosted a series of talented artists to headline its events, including the renowned international dj and producer Nhar.
With a simple focus on beautiful music and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, SOURCE events have been described as a space where people “feel safe”, “like a house party but in a club” and “healing” by various attendees and such feedback is as fulfilling as organising the events themselves.
